Teaching

I have been an adjunct faculty member of the University of Phoenix and the Maricopa Community College system since 2007. At UOP, I teach mostly Marketing and Strategy courses in the MBA program. At Maricopa Community College, I teach English and Writing courses, though I teach there less frequently than I used to. I also did a short stint at The Scottsdale Culinary Institute, teaching English and Communications.

Here is an ongoing log of my adjunct faculty adventures.

In Progress June 24 2010 – July 22 2010: MKT 438 Public Relations, University of Phoenix

Completed May 13 2010 – June 17 2010: MKT 571 Marketing, University of Phoenix

In June’s MKT 571 class at UOP, I had an excellent group of MBA students (pictured above). In the course, our main project focuses on the development and launch of a new product for an existing company. June’s teams had Coke launching a Kiwi soda, GE launching a home health monitor, Sony launching a 3D camcorder and Domino’s launching a creative new Asian menu. Fabulous creative thinking, fabulous class. Thanks, guys!
